Q.1 How will I be charged for my Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 service?

Ans: A) For customers installed between the 1st and 10th of the month:
i) Your bill will be dated 11th of the month and will include
1) Advance monthly rental for the period 11th of this month to the 10th of the next month.
2) For volume-based and time-based customers, Usage charges for the period 11th of the last month to 10th of this month. (If over and above the Plan limit)
3) Charges for content services, if any

B) Customer installed between the 11th and 20th of the month:
i) Your bill will be dated 21st of the month and will include
1) Advance monthly rental for the period 21st of this month to the 20th of the next month.
2) For volume-based and time-based customers, Usage charges for the period 21st of the last month to 20th of this month. ( If over and above the Plan limit)
3) Charges for content services, if any

C) Customer installed between the 21st and end of the month:
i) Your bill will be dated 1st of the month and will include
1) Advance monthly rental for the period 1st of this month to the end of this month.
2) For volume-based and time-based customers, Usage charges for the period 1st of the last month to the end of last month. ( If over and above the Plan limit)
3) Charges for content services, if any

 

Q2. What is an Unlimited Plan? Who should go in for an Unlimited Plan?

Ans: The bill will be sent by email to your Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 Mail ID and your alternate ID. If you have not provided us with your alternate ID or wish to change the same, please update your profile details in the My Account section.

You can also log onto www.tataindicombroadband.in/wireless and log on to the My Account section where you can view details of your bill.

 

Q3. By when is the Payment for the Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 bill due?

Ans: The due date is 15 days from the date of the bill:

Bill Dated

Due date

1st of the month

16th of the month

11th of the month

26th of the month

21st of the month

6th of the month

 

Q4. Can I carry forward my unutilized usage to the next month?

Ans: You will have to use the monthly allotted free traffic or usage within that month itself. To avoid any unutilized usage, we request you to choose a Plan that suits your requirements.

 

Q5. Will I be charged Monthly Charges even if my monthly Data traffic or total time spent on the Internet for the month is Zero?

Ans: You will be billed for Monthly Charges even if your monthly Data traffic or the total time spent on the Internet for the month is Zero.

 

Q6. How do I read my Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 bill?

Ans: Your Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 bill has been designed such that it is simple to read and all the charges are reflected clearly such that there are no hidden costs anywhere. Click here for details on how to read your Bill.

 

Q7. What are prorate rental charges? Why am I billed the same?

Ans: If you have been installed in between a billing cycle, the rental from that date of your installation to the billing cycle date is charged on a pro-rata basis –

that is, only for the number of days you were active. For e.g If you have been installed on 5th of the month, your bill dated 11th of the month will contain rental charges for 6 days – from 5th till the 10th of the month.

 

Q8. Why am I charged an advance rental, even on postpaid?

Ans: The monthly rental of the Plan that you are in, for the coming month is collected in advance. However since the time for making payment of the bill is 15 days, rentals are effectively collected 15 days in advance only. Any usage charges over and above the monthly rental as well as charges for content services etc. are billed in the next bill.

 

Q9. How and where can I pay my bill?

Ans: We offer convenient bill payment options:

1) Login to the My Account section and make online payment through Credit card or your Net Banking account.

2) Subscribe to our Auto Debit facility and get the bill amount debited directly from your bank account or credit card. Click here for more details.

3) You can deposit your Cheque/DD payments at any Skypak drop box closest to you. Click here for a list of drop boxes.

4) You can also drop your payment at our bill collection centre between 9 am to 4 pm from Monday to Saturday or post the same to the address in your city. Click here for our addresses.

5) You can also make payments by calling at call-center, 60607070 and using your credit card.  This facility is available 24x7.
